This part, named CyberGIF, lets you view images stored in the Graphics Interchange Format (GIF). This viewer can replace the GIF viewer that Apple supplies with Cyberdog.
How to install this part
There are two steps to installing this part.
1) Drag the part into the Editors folder.
2) Use the Editor Setup control panel to tell OpenDoc to use this part instead of the default part supplied by Cyberdog. Following are the steps for using Editor Setup.
･ Open the Editor Setup control panel.
･ Select the entry whose kind is ﾒimage/gif.ﾓ (Hint: Itﾕs in the ﾒbitmapﾓ category.)
･ Click the ﾒChoose Editorﾉﾓ button.
･ In the following dialog box select ﾒCyberGIF 1.0.ﾓ
･ Click OK to close the dialog box.
･ Click OK to close the Editor Setup control panel.
How to use this part
This part will be used automatically whenever you try to display a GIF image using Cyberdog.
Demo Limitations/Bugs
･ This part only runs on Power Macintosh computers. It does not contain any 680x0 code.
･ This part does not display the Cyberdog menus.
･ You may see other entries in the Editor Setup control panel that mention the GIF format. This part may appear in the Choose Editor dialog for those entries. This part only supports the entry mentioned in the ﾒHow to installﾉﾓ section above. Do not choose this part for any other entries in the Editor Setup control panel.
